FS KKR Capital Declares $0.44 Q4 Dividend Plus $0.20 Special Payout
FSK's board approved a fourth-quarter distribution and a one-time special dividend, while scheduling its Q3 2026 earnings release and call.
FS KKR Capital Corp. (NYSE: FSK) announced Wednesday that its board of directors has declared a fourth-quarter 2026 distribution of $0.44 per share on common stock, along with a separate special distribution of $0.20 per share, according to a company statement issued from Philadelphia and New York.
The dual declaration signals continued income generation at the publicly traded business development company, which is jointly managed by FS Investments and KKR. Special distributions of this kind are typically issued when a BDC accumulates undistributed net investment income or realizes gains beyond its regular payout schedule, though the company did not specify the source in the announcement.

In addition to the dividend news, FSK said it will release its third-quarter 2026 financial results and host a conference call for investors, providing the market with a near-term window into the company's portfolio performance and credit quality heading into year-end.
For income-focused investors, the combined per-share payout of $0.64 — covering both the regular quarterly and the special distribution — underscores the company's stated commitment to returning capital. BDCs are required by law to distribute at least 90 percent of taxable income to shareholders to maintain their regulated investment company status.
